SCALING LIMITS IN THE FOURTH PAINLEV\'E TRANSCENDENT

ABSTRACT:
The scaling limits in the fourth Painlev\'e transcendent are
considered from the point of view of the associated with P4
linear equation. 
The discriminant set for the scaling limits is described. The
cases of reductions to the lower Painlev\'e equations are found as well.
