The second Workshop on Advanced Computer Simulation Methods
for PhD students and junior scientists is organized by the Euler
International Mathematical Institute (St.Petersburg) and the
Mathematical Information Technology Department of the University of
Jyvaskyla (Finland) in St.Petersburg on 27-29 April 2009.
Aims and Scope
Workshop gives a frame for the exposition of the results
obtained by junior researches in such fields as advanced numerical
methods, computer simulation in science and engineering and new
theoretical results in computational mathematics.
Conference is mainly
oriented to postgraduate students and young scientists. It is planned
that the Program will include 30 minutes presentations (25 min talk
and 5 min discussion) of young scientists and two 45 min lectures of
invited speakers that will be devoted to certain actual topics in the
area.
Conference language is English/Russian.
