Small Deviations Probabilities and Related Topics. II |
12-19 September, 2005
Saint-Petersburg, Russia
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers working on small deviation in probability and related fields (such as stochastic processes, approximation theory, quantization, spectral theory of operators, statistical physics, etc.), and to promote the exchange of different approaches and ideas.
The first conference of the series was held in Oberwolfach, 2003, see http://www.proba.jussieu.fr/pageperso/smalldev
This meeting will be a part of celebration of the 90-th anniversary of academician Yuri Vladimirovich Linnik (1915-1972), outstanding mathematician, the founder of modern St.Petersburg school of Probability and Statistics.
The organizing committee of the conference consists of
A. Ayache, M.S. Birman, I.A. Ibragimov, J. Fill, B.S. Kashin, D. Khoshnevisan, M. Ledoux, G. Luschgy, P. Moerters, D. Nualart, K. Ritter, Q-M. Shao.
The conference will be hosted by Euler International Mathematical Institute (EIMI) at St.Petersburg, Russia. See more about EIMI on the website http://www.pdmi.ras.ru/EIMI/
